Mysterious Ways the second comic series that I created and wrote.
Mysterious Ways asks a simple question: If god does indeed work mysteriously, then how can we know good from evil? Though a search will turn up thousands of people a day parroting this phrase on Twitter alone I am not sure that a single one of them have stopped to think about the ramifications of these easily spoken words. Fundamentally, everything we believe about good, evil, truth, and justice rely on the fact that there is absolutely nothing mysterious about these principles.
This time instead of doing all the work myself I teamed up with Topcow Productions who produced the books and handled the publishing. Matt Hawkins and Filip Sablik put their all into producing the books with me.
Topcow introduced me to Tyler Kirkham, whose style was perfect for the dark story. Tyler and I spent a lot of time together discussing the books, but for the most part the artistic vision is his alone. He has an incredible eye and hand. In an industry that has taken to rushing through the pages to get the concepts to their agents, Tyler still spends the time to make every panel special.
The book is rounded out by Sal Regla's Inks and Arif Prianto's colors.
